Barbie

To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place (unless you are Ken) or unless you suffer a crisis that leads Barbie to question her world and her existence. With her home world in peril Barbie gets a chance to go to the real world, she soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans, but returns with the knowledge that what makes her different also makes her stronger. With the fabulous Will Ferrell as Mattel CEO, Margot Robie (as stereotypical Barbie) and Ryan Gosling (as Ken - the appendage without an appendage). Narrated by Helen Mirren.
Written and directed by Greta Gerwig. Barbie is a clever, funny and poignant film for young and old and is a visually dazzling comedy whose meta humor is smartly complemented by subversive storytelling.
